Specification It is an Android Jelly Bean (4.1) system tablet with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 T30L Quad-Core processer which clock rate is 1.2GHz, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, a 5MP digital camera, a 1.2MP front camera and 1280 x 800 resolution in 10.1 inch IPS TFT display. It provide HDMI, Full HD 1080p Video Out, WIFI, and Bluetooth 3.0 etc. MicroSD, microSDHC and TransFlash are for external storage. The size of tablet is 263 x 180.1 x 9.9mm (W x L x H). There's a front-facing 1.2MP digital camera placing in the centre of the top section of the bezel and an ASUS logo in the top-left nook of the bezel. The display is transervel. On the backside, there's a 5MP camera that has auto-focus function, but no LED flash. The backside is composed of plastic, hence it will be simply to have fingerprint on it. ASUS supply Smart Pad with white, dark blue or pink backs. The two speakers on left and right side respectively and they supply stereo audio output. They're pretty loud, however the sound seems a little bit muffled. The power button is on the top-left edge. The microSD card ports, microUSB, and micro HDMI are placed all along the left edge of the tablet. 3.5mm headphone port and volume control is set along the right edge.
Performance The battery runs out about 20% in one hour when watching video on Apps MX Player in normal mode. It is really smooth to watch video and play some games. The Pad get 56.2fps on the test of NenaMark, the 3D overall performance is not bad. The score on Quadrant Standard is 3547 that are similar to other Quad-Core CPU tablet. The performance of the CPU and graphic is fair and I think it will operate smoothly.
Camera MeMo Smart Pad has a 5MP Camera with supporting 1080p Full HD recording and continuous shooting feature while pressing the shutter. The rate of continuous shooting is 3 per second. You will find various scenes, such as Night, Portrait, Sunset and Back-light etc. However, the quality of photos is not good. Much noise appears in ISO 400.
