There is less competition for geographical keywords, so it is easier to offer your service. If your client needs the domain Accountants, you will be lucky to find accountants.co.uk or .com available, although you might be able to buy it from who ever has it currently registered at a fairly high price. If the domain you want is SomeTown Accountants there will be less competition for that, more chance of it being found by local customers and greater value to the local business. This is an easy and quick way to get your local business customer's website ranking highly on the major search engines.

Small to medium sized local businesses tend to have a modest marketing budget. If you can help proprietors get more leads, more prospects and better cash-flow into their businesses, they will pay you for your internet marketing services.
