The advancements in technology that have occurred over the past several decaades are quite amazing. When computers were first invented, they had to have separate rooms built to contain them. FaceTime phone numbers and emails should be set up. Your FaceTime will include the emails you saved into your iPad, but you should add more contacts. If you have more than one email or number, the settings section is where you want to go.

If you bought an iPad for a younger child and don't want him or her to access certain things, make sure your settings are set to block mature content. Under settings, you can limit how much mature content they can see. With the iPad you can set parental settings to block and harmful content.

Turn on auto brightness to help with your battery life. With auto brightness enabled your iPad automatically adjusts screen lighting depending on the lighting available in whatever room you're in. This technique gives you longer battery life without the need to recharge so often. This setting can be located in the section labeled "Brightness & Wallpaper".

Use tabs to multitask your browser. If you want to click on a link, don't worry about the previous webpage closing. Holding the link versus tapping it can bring up your options menu. From this point, opt to open that link inside a new tab to remain on your current tab while the new one opens.

Buy an external keyboard that can be used in conjunction with your iPad. If you type lots of documents and emails, this is a good idea and can save you a lot of time. Usually, iPad keyboards are wireless, so they are very convenient to use.

It is easy to use the iPad to take a screenshot. Press down the Home button and then press the Sleep/Wake key. You will hear a click and see a flash on your screen. That means the photo worked. These screenshots are automatically saved within the photo gallery.

You can easily see what apps are running on your iPad. A lot of iPad apps are designed to run as background processes. If you aren't sure what you have left open, push the home button twice. These active apps will show up at the very bottom of your display in a bar. After you see what is running, close the bar by swiping downward.

If you choose to use an iPad, you need to learn all about it. This article is a great starting point, so keep reading so you can learn a lot more.
